Unlike the nation, Georgia employment has bounced back strong and is well on its way to regaining pre-COVID levels.
In fact, Georgia is recovering much better than the U.S. as a whole, due in large part to the fact that we closed later and opened sooner.
Unemployment is also recovering and is well below the national average.
Initial claims for unemployment are recovering, however, continuing claims are still historically high.
